please welcome reverend to our family!
he's a 3 year old boxer pit mix, and he's awesome! so far he and eponine are getting along well. a couple of nips here and there, but that's to be expected. they just need to work things out between themselves, but he seems content to let her be alpha dog.
we finally lucked out yesterday at the north county animal shelter in carlsbad. justin loved him at first sight, and he and eppie did very well at the interaction. the staff was awesome (not like that cunt at the central shelter), and we adopted him on the spot! he had to get neutered first (thank god), and that was free, but he apparently has some kind of mild bacteria infection. nothing contagious, we just have to put him on antibiotics. he's pretty skinny, but starting tomorrow we're gonna fatten him up and get him healthy!
he looks a little goofy in the pics, but he's still a little groggy from the pain meds...
