my heart is broken.
today we finally got approval from our landlord to adopt another dog, but when we went to submit our application, we found that terry had already been adopted. she's the second dog we missed out on while waiting for him.
i know alot of it is my fault for getting my hopes up, and justin assured me that since fate brought us eponine and church and ash (our cats when we lived in texas), it will bring us our new baby too. i know he's right, but it still hurts. every day that i see eppie's face so sad and lonely, it just kills me. i wish i could tell her to be patient, and that a new sibling is coming soon.
we found another boston/staffordshire mix in pasadena named annabelle. we sent in an application for her this afternoon, but i just now double checked and she's been adopted also. shit, within 12 hours! our timing leaves much to be desired i guess. i can't be too upset, because i'm glad they found good homes, i just wish it was mine they called home...

Aw, that's sad dude. You should look on craigslist for dogs. All kinds of good finds on craigslist. BTW where did you move to? Are you closer now? If so we could definately hang out....cuz no one would have to commute at all.
