Why do all business suits make me look like a naughty librarian or a hardcore Butch?

So here's the situation:

I come into the living room in my interview outfit (grey coat, pants, blue button up shirt) and ask the hubby, and roommate for their opinion. Instead of the desired opinion, they ask me to put my hair up into a bun using a pencil. .

Will I ever learn?

So I've got an interview with the Department of Conservation tomorrow morning for a Conservation Officer position. It's not Northern Wisconsin but if I am hired, it will build experience towards a position in WI in a couple of years.

Either way, when we move I'm getting chickens.
