Ok, this is my last day in Florida.

What did I do here? Lazed about, got caught up with the family and ate a lot. Also, got to do some cooking with my oldest sister.

We spent a couple of days last week in Orlando visiting the Epcot center and downtown Disney. Didn't get a chance to ride the monorail over to the other parts....

Florida can be chilly...I've often heard that and now I've experienced it. I'm a little bit north of Ft. Lauderdale and the weather has been nice but a little bit crisp....

All my family has arrived and so far we've been busy recovering lost luggage, settling in, and eating....

I always find things seem to get busier right before I leave on vacation. This week was no exception...I had to do an upgrade of the backup system Thursday evening and then had to patch some servers Friday evening. They were all pretty good and I wish I had brought my camcorder to record it.

Anyway, that was one non-work related activity I've indulged in recently.

It's getting cold in the UK!....and that means it's going to get interesting on the bike!

Had to work again this weekend. I had another round of patching to do yesterday. I almost missed the maintenance window, but something told me to stop by work and take a look at my email...

I'm a bit bummed out about the U.S. election results. I was actually motivated to send in an absentee ballot this time. Well one good thing is that Bush can't get elected again! Four more years indeed!
