Well my new server is in production and I didn't make too many mistakes!

Another bit of good news is that the Director of IT had to cancel his trip. He's rescheduling it but it will give me a week or two to finish cleaning up.

This Friday, I'm thinking of seeing these guys Neon at the London Barfly....

there's only one grey member left on my friend's list ... and that's only because she just went grey and should return. i deleted the rest of them ... which is somewhat sad to me as well.

sounds like you're doing well ... i could be better, but i could be worse. just some bumps in the road i have to get over.

I'm commissioning a new file server today which involves a tedious process of copying all the data from old servers to the new server and then testing all the shares.

I also need to tidy up the office a bit before the Director of IT comes next week....Hah! I'll be lucky to get the new file server working....anyway, have a good weekend everyone!

I've been listening to Alter Bridge (www.alterbridgeband.net) recently. I guess it suits my mood at the moment. Go to the music sample section and check out the B-Side "Save Me"...that's my current favorite at the moment.

Gotta psych myself up for a Windows 2003 server upgrade tomorrow evening. It SHOULD be pretty straightforward...but you never know!

I've got quite a few pairs of shoes that are good. but my normal everyday shoes just gave way! the blisters are from wearing shoes that are slightely too small! guttingly enough the pair i wanted were not in the shop on thursday! sold outer my size! GRRR

I just need a pair of comfy dappy/converse style shoes, but im fussing and got awkward feet!

Yesterday, I went over to Box Hill. There was a moderate amount of activity...probably the highlight was an absolutely stunning RD350...I must remember to bring my camera next time.

Just got back from the Brighton Engine Room gig. It was interesting seeing people in the flesh that you only know from pictures on the website. I didn't introduce myself to anyone....too chicken I guess... whatever Maybe some other time....

Who Will Miss Mary

This was Vespertine's last gig because they're breaking up...nobody quite knows why. Who Will Miss Mary was kind of interesting. The lead singer is Mary Keay and she has a great voice...it's hard to describe they're so go to their website if you're interested....

Binkying is what bunnies do when they're happy and blowing off steam. They run around, jump in the air, and make twists in mid-air, very cool to watch.

Ebay can be seriously evil but so much fun! My Dad's got a GPS that he uses in the car on road trips, and on the bike as well.
