Tonight, I'm playing chef....
I'm trying to cook "jook" which is a chinese rice porridge....sort of comfort food.... I cooked some cod filets yesterday and wanted to use them up, so I'm trying it in this jook....I put in ginger, spring onions, some chicken stock, and....
I can definitely taste the ginger! I could put some more onions and chicken stock in...ah well, I'll play around with the seasonings tomorrow....
