Yesterday, I went up to the London Office on my bike. Normally I would take the train and the tube but I decided on the bike because I had stuff to carry and I hadn't ridden up in awhile.

I did pretty well until I got into the city itself. After I went over London Bridge I got lost and spent half an hour ridin aimlessly around. I got to the office in just under 2 hours. If I go by train and the tube it take between 1 and 1.5 hours...guess I should turn in my license!

Part of the reason for going up was to attend my colleague Richard's leaving do. We had it in an interesting pub across the street from Cannon St. station. It's run by the Eerie Pub Co. and has a kind of haunted house theme. The toilets are accessed via "hidden" doors disguised as bookcases! kind of interesting....

Anyway, afterwards I had a long,wet ride out of the city via the A3....ah well, it's good practise for winter riding...
