Lazing about in California
I'm still in California, hanging out with the parents...not doing a whole lot....
I tried to see The Loud Family at the The Starry Ploughin Berkeley. I made the mistake of taking BART up from Fremont so while I was able to see Fainting Goats and Anton Barbeau I missed The Loud Family because I had to take BART back to Fremont before it shutdown for the night...damn late night gigs! I should have driven all the way but I was afraid I would be too tired to drive back....
I took my parents up to to SF to see the DeYoung museum....we spent a couple of hours there and then wandered over to Clement Street which is a sort of less crowded version of SF Chinatown....we bought tons of Bau's which we're still eating! My mom has a habit of going overboard with food when I visit....so I've been doing a lot of eating this vacation...
