Rage dwells within
Consumed within these four walls
of dark stone
My only view of this world behind
steel bars
Black thorns tighten there grip
upon my caged heart
Loneliness creeps in like a
godforsaken plague
These screams seem neverending
A lifetime of suffering and loving misery
Kindness done unto me only to be
extinguished as did my Life's eternal flame
ages ago

I am currently on anti-depressants, and am learning about turning my life around and looking at the positive side of life. it is a step by step process and sometimes i backstep a bit. I will get to the top and go through the door.
