Swirl of thought and emotion
None really hover over the other
Sadness seems to last, but only
when she sees his face
Inhaling hurts when lying down
Broken bones have still to mend
Bloody tears have washed away
staining the white sheets
She smells something sweet
wafting in the air
Inhaling deeply she begins to
fade away
Sleep takes hold as she falls
within herself
Laughter fills the air
Echos of heartfelt voices
from the past hum in her ears
She sees him walking towards her
His sweet scent entering her
as she breaths deeply
Closing her eyes he takes a hold of her
His painful kiss causes tears
Remembering a past full of such bliss
that is now ended
She wonders why life had to end
for a new one to begin
