The thunderstorms/lightning storms started at 1 am. Rolling up until about 8 am this morning, we had a small break in the rain so we snuck out of the tent for a fire. We warmed up by the fire, then I made a potpourri.
Last night got a bit intense, (HAAAAAAAH. IN TENTS) :|
It was actually a bit nerve wracking as I'm sleeping under wiggly popplers, but I quickly got used to how they dance. I am so happy with their ability to move together softly even though the wind is stronger than hell. I didn't lose ANY of my fencing, OR the lil entrance hallway I made. My pup sleeps inside my sleeping bag, and she slept through the thunder, or if she woke up, she just looked at me like, "IM SLEEPIN' HEEEERE". ðŸ˜ðŸ¥°ðŸ’• I'm so proud.
We seem to have another break in the rain so I am going to go back out and feed the birdies and check the fortress for damage.
I will post another blog of JUST what I have built for anyone interested, just need to get back to a stable (more than 1 bar) internet connection. 🥰
