WELL I woke up at 5:45 this morning with the strangest dream about Trent Reznor.... very very strange..... I think this might be becasue I am TRYING to get into the NIN sold out show here and avoid paying $$$$ money for tickets, my friend toured with them for 6 months and did their hair and make up, HOWEVER she was in contact with the manager for years and now he is canned. So this is stressing me out. Hence the crazy Trent dream.

Toni Morrison is a great author. I wouldn't really read one of her books on my own though, this was an assignment for class. I read fluff, and this book was really disturbing and upsetting. It's about these little black girls in the 1940's in Ohio, and one of them gets raped by her dad, and the characters all hate themselves and each other and their blackness, and it's terribly sad to read. Very well written though.
I know that good literature should make you feel something, but isn't life bad enough? I like to read stuff that's just mindless drivel. Something to entertain me, you know?

Have you seen new NBC show "The Office" yet? Hilarious stuff! I never saw the original British version this one is based on, and I'm sure it's funnier, but I really like the American edition. Considering what NBC did with the last British series it tried to Americanize, "Coupling" which the network destroyed, I didn't have high hopes for this one. Nice to be proven...
