Congratulations to the Boston Bruins for a much-deserved Stanley Cup victory. I'm a Rangers fan, but I tip my hat to the B's, and especially goalie Tim Thomas, for guts, grit and a never-say-die attitude when facing a team that on paper was considered to be superior.
As for Vancouver, sorry for the loss. I've never been there but I've always heard what a great city it is, so, please tell me that it is better than this. Same thing happened in '94 when the Canucks lost to my Rangers in seven games. C'mon, man... yeah, I get passionate about sports, too, but rioting is just ridiculous. Hopefully, those treated for stab wounds and other injuries will be OK.

Just goes to show how people can get caught up in the fantasy and fanaticism of rooting for a sports team. If Cubs fans acted this way, the city of Chicago wouldn't exist.
