Can someone tell me what the appeal is of all these "Real Housewives" shows? I mean, why do we celebrate ugly, ridiculous boorish behavior by a bunch of over privileged obnoxious people? I guess I'm showing my age - although many of these women are my age - but for the life of me, I can't understand why these shows are a hit? My girlfriend loves them. LOVES THEM. Watches the repeats ad nauseum. Which, I guess, is part of the reason I can't watch them... because they're on all the time at home. Ugh. So seriously, if you're a fan of these shows, please tell me why, because I just don't see what all the fuss is about. Thanks.

people like trainwrecks? its the same reason people watch jersey shore and paris hilton. apparently insane privileged white people are the height of entertainment. personally, it makes me embarrassed to be human.
