Measured, masterful, presidential, magical, strong. Last night was great not because Obama's speech was perfect, it was great because like Democrats before him, he dared to think big. The choice of the stadium and the backdrop were ridiculed but when you step back and think about it, we're at a moment in time when being small and thinking small is no longer acceptable.

And for that, Sen. Obama, I thank you. I hope and pray that you win on November 4.

While your Yankees are indeed dead in the water, My White Sox should get in if their pitching holds up. They just lost Carlos Quentin probably for the season with a broken wrist, That's a big blow to the offense. I'm going to two of the games when the Sox play the Yankees in New York. I'm taking my younger daughter on Sept. 18th and Lyrical on the 15th. I kind of hope the Yanks aren't totally dead by then since Lyrical is a big Yankees fan.

Although they're not on my favorite movies list, I also like Ray and Michael Clayton. My music preferances seem to be more "old school" than yours. Of course, there is about a 17 year difference in our ages.

Nice to hear from you. My poker life is nothing like the people you see on TV. I'm just trying my best to grind it out. I play within my limits and stay in my comfort zone when it comes to the places I play. As I mentioned in my blog, it doesn't always work out the way I'd like it too. I often think I could be doing better.
