Any of you listen to Internet radio through iTunes? I don't too often, but I found a station I like, "Indie Pop Rocks! on SomaFM. I haven't listened to all of them, or even that many of them, but I like this one. Indie, alternative, college radio, etc. Pretty cool stuff.
Let's see, what else... Is it possible to feel sorry for an adulterer? I mean, sure, his/her spouse and family suffer a lot more than the cheating party, but I feel bad for poor A-Rod. How he could think he could do anything in public and not be recognized is beyond me, but he doesn't deserve to be stalked. Nor does his wife deserve to see that crap plastered all over the front page of the NY Post. Having said that, I'm a member of the media so I support the Post even though I'm not crazy about it. For what it was, it was great reporting. Scooped the hell out of all the other media outlets. No, the reason I'm not crazy about it is not because of the story or the reporting, it has more to do philosophically with why our culture needs to see that Britney Spears isn't wearing underwear, or see pics of Lindsay Lohan passed out somewhere. Or, that our president messed around with an intern, for that matter. There are some things that just aren't all that important.
(A funny aside: I'm pretty good friends with the Post reporter who wrote the "Stray-Rod' piece; we worked together for a couple of years at a CT newspaper. He's an awesome reporter and a funny guy. He was THE guy who blew apart the Lizzie Grubman stuff a few years ago when she backed her SUV into a crowd outside of a Hamptons nightspot. He called me about 5-6 weeks ago -- I'm an approved freelancer for the Post, doesn't really mean anything because they only call me once or twice a year -- to see if I could cover something with Keith Richards at his Weston, CT home. Turns out I was on deadline for another client and couldn't do it. Oh well. lol)

I thought that you might find this funny/ironic
Last week a friend of mine asked me to edit a story he is trying to pitch to some online blog thing. All I could think when he asked me to look it over was that if he was asking me to edit something then he is in seriously bad shape.
