Since buying my MacBook Pro, I've become all immersed in Mac culture... I'm buying all kinds of Mac magazines, buying books and accessories, subscribing to MacWorld, taking ProCare classes, futzing around on it constantly. And, I've decided to create a personal website for my freelance writing, using Apple's iWeb software, but I'm clueless as to how to proceed. Apple has it's .Mac service, which is $100 per year. That's a little rich for my blood, so I'm looking at other, less expensive hosting companies. I'm leaning toward 1and1.com per mydogfarted's suggestion, but I've also heard that GoDaddy.com is good, too. Does anyone have any other recommendations? Thanks.
In other news, I'm coming down with a cold. Ugh.

All good decisions have a way of making it around again and making sure to pat you on the back... I'm glad to hear of your successful strides in Mac life. Being ever the guy w/ disks of stuff, let me know if you need software.
And yes, it was certainly time to update!
Now other, much smarter people than myself have used it and enjoyed it so I can at least tentatively push you in that direction
My two cents worth on this one.
WELCOME TO THE WEEKEND!!!!
