So, I dyed my hair this weekend. Finally, I've wanted to like forever and I always happened to chicken out. This time I just did it, well, I let the girls on my hall do it. Bad idea, but it all worked out for the best. It was a highlighting kit, and the girl just kind of brushed them on, and they were supposed to be red highlights but they came out like gold. It was kind of scary for someone who's had black hair all her life. Anyway after blowing 20 bucks on that kit I spent another whopping 3 dollars for an overall dark red hair color. It didnt really cover up the highlights but they're less noticeable and actually red now. So, my hairs still orange looking in the sun but overall a lot darker, and actually really red. I think I'm satisfied for now. Although, even if I wasn't, I wouldnt dye my hair again this soon because it already feels so much more damaged than ever. It'll be fun to keep it like this till I've got like 2 inches of black roots and then dye it all black again for the summer, maybe cut it shorter. I feel a lot less.. anal lately. Like I didn't freak out about my hair, I really am starting to care less about petty things. Which is good. I don't want a heart attack at 25. Anyway Im still working on getting some pictures set up, definitely before and after hair dyes. Zotman did a nice Sin City rendition of a picture for me Ill have to post, soon.. soon. (like tomorrow)
