As you all know I went to Portland for the weekend. Yay right? Well not exactly. The second I stepped of the plane I felt like shit. I caught a nasty cold and spent the weekend indoors while d23 took care of me. Such a sweetheart, I owe him big time for that!
This is where I spent most of my time. On the couch watching episodes of Dead Like Me and playing on the computer.
And this is where d23 spent most of his time. Cooking me food and making me lots of hot tea. How sweet is that?
I did manage to get out to the Japanese Gardens before I left. Im happy we went cause it was SO beautiful. Hard to describe so I leave you with pix.
All in all my weekend wasnt too bad. After all I did have an amazing person who not only took care of me but made being sick rather fun. I got to get away from the dreadful Orange County for a while, always a plus. And I got to see Portland in the fall when all the leaves are starting to turn pretty shades of red and orange and fall to the ground.
