I like having my own room. Its clean and quite. My friends think Im ignoring them, theyre right. I just havent been in the mood to deal with them. Im enjoying being a hermit at the moment. I havent even hooked up my TV or handed out my new number. Ive been reading allot lately. Im almost done with Geek Love. Im going to need a new book soon. *points to wish list*

So very excited to go to Portland next month, very sad Im missing Burning Man. If by some chance my ex landlord becomes human in the next few weeks I might be able to make it for the weekend.

I woke up last Sunday wanting to get a haircut and get tattooed. I thought it would go away like most of my desires I cant afford but they havent. I hate wanting something and not being able to get it or having to wait for it. I have no patience what so ever, my biggest fault. My friends always say the two things they will teach me before they die is patience and self-control. I laugh cause it will never happen.

I just looked at Geek Love on Amazon and I applaud you for being able to wade through that language.

I have those days too, when I wake up with yearning for things like a piercing, or to dye my hair or something. It is wierd because besides the obvious primal urges, i.e. sex, food, etc... most people's actions are based on decisions made over a period of time, and not on impetuous desire.

I think surrendering to it is a good thing. Surely you can think of a not to annoying way to drum up extra cash- like temp for a day or something. Good luck.
