New post, new post!
Not much longer than the old post, as I'm already running a little late.
Car accident Sunday night. Some guy started to merge into me real fast, so I swerved out of the way. I lost control of the car and had two distinct moments of near-miss sudden death. Luckily everyone on the road behind me slowed to a stop, so...

I"m just happy you're ok. Extra bills or not at least you aren't hurt!

... and that makes my weekend.
I wanna feel good today, but there's physical work that's taking now, and a fight coming later.
Cheer me please?
Sheesh, I'm such a needy blogger.

hopefully the smut will cheer you

Thanks! I is also sore. It's been months since the last time I didn't have something aching, but it's been worth it
And the cycles continue.
And perhaps more telling,
And now I reconsider again. Maybe it's worth the debt to get married sooner. It's one way to increase the chances my dad won't crazy himself to death first, and that it could be before my mom finally breaks free and moves far far away, and before I'm left to care for my work phobic but brilliant...

I think we'll both find our accomplishments soon.

Thank you.
And thanks for being around. Without the people I enjoy, I'd be a much darker Grayness, indeed.

Thank you for the love y'all.
Eventually I ended up braving the snow and waiting outside for two hours for a van arrival, but in the end everything that needed doing got done. Now I am dry, warm, stoned, happy, and waiting for indian food.
My hubby is right here, his best friend is hosting, the cats are all over me.

I and my team mate solved a problem today that even the best and brightest at the company had taken repeated shots at with no results. And it worked out today that next Thursday will be his last day, not today. I'm going to miss him, so that was a happy thing, indeed.
I think we may have another minor miracle or two to work, between us, before he's gone, too.
As I've said before, the prospect of a set from you... well, this gives me much to which to look forward.
Just the thought of it is definitely something to make my heart beat a bit faster, and make me smile.
Come what may, though, I'm glad you're around.
Cats *are* great, aren't they? And it's even nicer to have another human with whom to share them.
I'm glad your day is ending well... and I hope your tomorrow carries on in the same note.

I'm working my way through the Watch books as well! We're missing one but it should arrive later this week.
I am an anxious wreck today.

Aww, I'm sorry
I find that slow, deep, rhythmic breaths, while seated in a comfortable position with my eyes closed, does wonders for helping me cope with anxiety.

Many, many good thoughts, sent retroactively. After all, since I don't know the outcome, it wouldn't create a paradox from my point of view if the past was altered, a bit.
It shouldn't be possible to be depressed about being depressed.
Let it never be said I limit myself in such ventures.
My love is having a freakout. I haven't fooled around at all since last year, and he trusts me. Still, he had flashes and it is making him irrationally angry and jealous (that's how he puts it). I'm calming him down and pulling him...

For someone who was up and out do early, you're up rather late.
...but then, so am I.
In my case it's sheer refusal to let go of the day before.. I just guess before I'm ready. And I'm not yet, quite.

Those of us with a only vaguely regular sleep cycle sometimes have a bit less discipline in the matter- which is why I've been having so many 2 and 3 AM starts lately.
Mornings usually hold more attraction anyhow... I can have tea and not worry about winding up having missed an entire night of sleep. As it is tonight, I'm courting danger with just the one cup.
Your evening sounds good. This makes me glad.

Last night I was out at a bar drinking for the first time in (COUNTING FINGERS NOT WORKING WITH HANGOVER HEAD) weeks. It was Tim's birthday, and even I can enjoy a sports bar, as long as the sports on the TVs are rugby and curling and the crowd is all congenial disinterested Americans. It was a good time.

Now I need to find a copy. I only have three Beach Boys albums on my iPod anyway, and that's not nearly enough!
I want to flirt.
I want to be out with a group of new and old friends and acquaintances in a friendly bar that's not too loud, with private corners and retreats.
I want to discover new commonalities and explore new possibilities with known people.
I want to be excited by a hand brushing my thigh, or the notion of someone leaning in to me....

Anxiety tends to make one long for such things.
But even though I feel unusually content right now, most of those things sound pretty good

I enjoy taking those trips often as well
And as soon as I make peace with it, it all falls apart.
We're cutting costs wherever we can, but my wedding will be more expensive than we can afford. The idea of a bridge loan to pay for it is a terrible one. The idea of postponing it is more reasonable, but the idea of going through the misery I've had so far twice...

Aww, hon, I wish you weren't having such a hard time with this.
Just try and keep things in perspective. You're marrying a man you love, and if you can do that with family and a few close friends around, nothing else really matters.

No posts since January? Sheesh.
You'd never know I look at this site everyday. Totally true.
I don't blog because one of two things are usually true.
1. I have nothing to say in a blog.
2. I have no time to say anything in a blog.
Today I am stuck at work for no good reason, and it has meant having some time to...

In no particular order-
Squid always fascinated me, growing up. They seemed the closest the real world ever got to monsters or aliens. Just how real the real world is has always disappointed me.
Actually, I have a sneaking admiration for those who adhere to Miss Post, simply because it's a talent that is is nowhere within my manifest of talents. Manners, I can do- etiquette remains one of the rare arrays of trivia that doesn't stick to the inside of my head somewhere. It's always struck me as an aspect of order, and given chaos' reign in this world, that's something worth preserving.
There's always some brilliance about you.
I've started reading Midsummer.
