I interviewed Friday afternoon after work for a much better job over at a law firm a friend works for. Another friend is leaving and the two of them recommended me. The interview went very well I may have been hired before it was over if it didn't take so long for paperwork to be filled out.
Will likely know tomorrow. If I do, I give less than a week's notice at the current job that both built up my resume when I had no history and caused me three years of agony, physical, mental, and emotional. I feel bad about this, but I can't afford not to take a position that will pay me $15 grand more per year and give me health insurance. This will make my future possible.
When I know, and once my boss knows, she will throw a shit fit unequaled. She will think I am disloyal and destroying her company. Should be fun. I'm a bit anxious. Sorry, did I say a bit? Anxious is what I DO. This is in another ballpark.
To add to this, I auditioned for a production of Into the Woods today. I auditioned well, but the pool of people is enormous. I want it real bad.
If I get both, I will have gotten the job I've been waiting for for years and the biggest part I've ever had in a show I've loved since I was 10.
