Here in North Cackalacki. People are enormously sweet down here.

My family is very strange, but it is so good to see them. The new house is lovely. Food has been fatty and wonderful. I am quickly on my way to nap as I just finished a very filling meal (my fourth in two days).

I really wish my family lived closer. I can't afford to fly constantly, nor to I get days off from work in any manner that would make this convenient. With that in mind, driving is out of the question. Ten hours each way ain't swingable. The notion that this trip is a necessity for me to see them from now on till ever is a little depressing, but not enough to get me down this weekend. Not right now, anyway. WAY too much 'itis for that.
