I'm less blue, but I've been sick since last Tuesday. This makes me a bit testy.
Been looking into Grad programs for elementary education. I see the women teaching in the school I'm in and it's so dumb that I'm working for shit money when I could be doing more and better for the kids in the classrooms.
Getting there will be complicated. We have no idea yet how I'll be able to afford the education, and especially the semester spent student teaching (again), when I will not be able to work very much at all. Then there's whether I'd have to say at my sucky job while I'm at it. That would SUCK (as the description "sucky" might indicate).
But here's the thing:
I've been waiting for someone I respect to tell me what to do, what to pursue, where to push myself so I can succeed the way I want to.
It occurred to me that every person I respect who ever voted it on what I should be doing has said that I should either be a performer or, more often, a teacher. I ruled out performer. I have to stop waiting.
Not gonna find myself a certified teacher tomorrow. There's more research to do, more talking and planning to do, more people to get in contact with in order to make it all happen.
But it really has to at some point. Keep saying it's gonna happen sometime. Why wait longer than necessary?

I know you can do it, I feel you are like me. That you can do anything you put your mind to. I have faith in you. Just trust your heart and give it your best. That's really all you can do in this life, and besides I bet you will make an awesome teacher. You're compassionate, and you really honestly care. If it is meant to be, it will happen for you I'm sure of it. ^_^
