Listening to the new Goldfrapp album. The most synth-pop eighties to ever eighties the eighties.
Next up, gonna listen to Peter Gabriel's Scratch My Back.

The money ($500) I got paid to sing last month ended up all going to pay for me to have a physical. I could have bought a couch, or replaced my camera with money left to burn. In fact, the total of the medical bills for standard labs and a pointless appointment came to about $750, so I've been short on food too.
Then comes back my man's notion of getting married as soon as possible. This notion of getting married before getting married seems more necessary all the time, not that my #1 has any usable ID for us to do so with. His license is expired, his SS card is lost and we're waiting for the new one. He's never had a passport. At least some of this must me amended for this to happen.

And then we get back to the point that I don't want to rob my wedding of its significance, not just for me and him, but for our families and friends. I desperately don't want to elope now and have a party a year and a half from now, I want the ceremony of personal significance with the celebration that follows. I figure the way to do it would be to get married in secret just bring my sister and his best friend) so that to most everyone, when we get married it is for reals. I know if would still feel real to me. At least I hope so.
Thing is, I want to change my name, which would mean my job would know, and my family would soon after (trust me on this). Wouldn't it be worse to be discovered?

The bottom line is I'm too poor to get married now, and too poor not to get married now.
This leaves me pretty mad.

Of course, as the top of this blog indicates, I am in a good mood today. The suck won't get me down now (at least for a while).
