No posts since January? Sheesh.
You'd never know I look at this site everyday. Totally true.
I don't blog because one of two things are usually true.
1. I have nothing to say in a blog.
2. I have no time to say anything in a blog.
Today I am stuck at work for no good reason, and it has meant having some time to kill. For this reason I will invent brilliance for you. Brilliance!!!!!
Or I could just write about what I'm up to.
I really don't want to have a boring wedding. I'm a quirky individual marrying a quirky individual. Unfortunately my quirky individual is also snotty and addicted to Miss Post (it's heredity). HE approaches too many things as needing doing "because they are done". We really can toss tradition out the window for many more things than he thinks.
It doesn't matter too much though. The important things are there. We atheists are getting married by their gay lawyer friend, and musician friends will write new music for the ceremony on the beach in the fall.
We get to be two of the very many getting on geeky-easy-to-remember day.
Not everyone I'd like to invite will be there, but a bunch will. It will cost too much, but I will not gripe. As long as I get to marry him that day, it is all worth it.
I am putting a squid in the monogram though.
Hehehe.
Love to you...

In no particular order-
Squid always fascinated me, growing up. They seemed the closest the real world ever got to monsters or aliens. Just how real the real world is has always disappointed me.
Actually, I have a sneaking admiration for those who adhere to Miss Post, simply because it's a talent that is is nowhere within my manifest of talents. Manners, I can do- etiquette remains one of the rare arrays of trivia that doesn't stick to the inside of my head somewhere. It's always struck me as an aspect of order, and given chaos' reign in this world, that's something worth preserving.
There's always some brilliance about you.
I've started reading Midsummer.
Oooh, shiny!
