My favorite Cardigans. (though I prefer the version in which she gets decapitated)
Guess what my favorite game is.
EDIT: Hint: It's not a sport (not in many people's estimation, at least), nor a board game (I'm never bored while playing), nor a video game (though you can watch).
Also, it isn't sex. So there. Keep trying...

Of course, I could say "mind", but that goes with "games", plural.
Or I could guess "pheasant", but that isn't the sort of game you meant.
I also love words. Poetical, serious, humorous, sensuous words. I write poetry and have had several pieces published in poetry journals.
And red wine and cooking.
I think I may have had a bit too much red wine this evening, before writing this. It was meant to be much more interesting and profound than it is.
But. . .truth be told, I am trying to wind down. As of late I spend my days working with the rescue bunnies, and then going to my mother's house to sit and basically watch her die.
She has cancer and we have a hugely complex relationship.
It is so sad to watch a person become a shadow. It is so hard to truly grasp that there really is nothing - nothing - I can do. No control.
No power.
Only kindness and patience.
And waiting.
Is this love; or is it merely humanity?
I will forever wonder. Is that my cross to bear?
Ahh...wine wine wine!
