I was a dead and murderous bride last night. I carried a knife and a dead rose.

I put the whole costume together with stuff around the house in under an hour. We finished my boyfriend's costume in less time. We managed to win scariest costume at a party, I think purely due to presentation. When I get a picture of the two of us, I'll post. Meantime, you get my pale complexion for your amusement.

I'd be at another Halloween event tonight except:

1) I have no money
2) I have WORK in the morning!!!

Yes friends, I have a paid internship with the Shadowbox Theatre Company. Huzzah!! Now it pays very little, so I need to keep looking for something better, but it's more money than I have now (now = $0) and I get to do tech theatre, which is awesome.

Moreover, my sense of self-worth is restored. YAY, self-worth!!!

In other news....

The performance of NIN today went wonderfully. It could have gone even better, in my opinion, but people were very impressed. The composer was delighted and effusive with praise, which was the best thing that could have happened.

Plus, my boyfriend got to see, which made me happier than I could say.

I wish you all could have seen it.
