Let me get this straight:
The ACLU has filed a suit regarding the 1st amendment violations involved in euthanizing convicted murderers. It seems that one of the drugs used for the process paralyzes them BEFORE the one that kills them does its work. They MIGHT POSSIBLY feel pain before they die...There is so much irony in that I don't even know where to begin. MAYBE the understanding, or thought, of painful of death might be a deterrent to prospective killers? MAYBE if you make the choice to take a life, you deserve to be in pain? Like duh? I would think the ACLU would be doing more useful things with its time/money, but there is no end to the ridiculous diversions humans (including myself) participate in!!!
