Here's how my trip to Big Bear went:
Really slow drive, productive because I am giving another writer feedback at a writer's mtg., and I took the time to read the piece- a novel, not a screenplay (and though it was a bit painful, I was at least a captive audience!) .:
The really slow drive and the intense snow storm prevented any skiing on Saturday. With hopes of making it on Sunday, I went to sleep with sugar plum faeries dancing in my head.
I hung out with my super crazy, cool, Swede friend
Sunday the powder was fine and deep, but I slept in, and there were no tickets available when I was ready to go.
I did some drinking and chillin' so it wasn't a total loss. PS I'm going back up the weekend of the March 4 & 5 if anyone is interested...could be fun
