So I can chalk up 2 of PDX's "celebs" now. I saw Danny Glover and Paul Allen this week. If I see Art Alexakis, and the Sleater Kinney girls, I'll have the whole set!!!
And again, Powell's is the best place on the planet to work. Being poor never felt so good. I have cheap/free books. I have smokes. I have food. I bought 2 new pairs of jeans and an ultra hot black western shirt with six guns on the shoulders. As far as material goods go, I couldn't be better. Now I need to buy some pre natal vitamins to make my hair grow faster because this short hair no pompadour thing is for suckers...
I ended up dressing as Michael Meyers for Halloween again. Broke up a few fights, saw one of my toughest friends dressed as a Catholic school girl get in a fight. That fucking ruled. He was also on Cops last Saturday night if you happened to be watching the new episode. He was the naked guy on a bike. I love that guy.
The Samhain season was great this year. I had to work on All Souls Day so I couldn't go do what I wanted, but I was still thinking about Elliott and Rod Roddy all day. I was also thinking about pie, coffee, cigarettes, books, and Angelica Houston in The Royal Tannenbaums. How hot was she in that?
I'm going to curl up to my super fuzzy blanket, drink my (now hot) cider, light up a Parliament Light, and put Killer Klowns from Outer Space on. If my window would actually close on this 30 degree Portland night, it would be perfect.

I have been self exploring a lot lately as well, it difficult but can be reawrding. I haven't bought my Anais Nin books yet. I need to replace the ones my sister and I shared but I haven't gotten over to Powells lately. I should do that soon...
