lost in his thoughts
opinions and choices
slowly narrowing
as the light in his soul becomes dim
fighting the cancer within
the disease thats spreading
his mind, a cloth unthreading
covering his nerves, thoughts, dreams
owned by a system, thats not what it seems
coveting the people that cause it all
dropping a number as his body starts to fall.
Let them win
but curse their name
they will try to change but will remain the same
giving the system the pain it distributes
ignoring our thoughts
petty posessions they contribute
forever they will win
they own you
