I couldn't sleep last night. My mind wanders when I can't sleep.

I would do Suicide Girls, but I don't think my significant other would ever be okay with my body becoming a public thing. That got me thinking. Why would I do Suicide Girls when the next girl wouldn't?

I think any girl would do Suicide Girls if they truly understood it (and this is what it means to me, so I could be way off-base in some people's opinions). To me, being accepted in the mainstream to pose nude is an affirmation. For Playboy, it's an affirmation of being "hot" and sexy. To me, Suicide Girls is more about beauty (as well as sexiness). Suicide Girls is not only an affirmation of being gorgeous on the inside, but also a way to express your inner beauty, individuality, and uniqueness through your art, body, and blogs.

So that got me thinking. Why do girls strip and do porn? Why would I, personally, do Suicide Girls, but neither stripping nor porn? My theory is that stripping and porn are actually done for the same basis as posing nude; an affirmation. However, I feel like the girls who do stripping and porn have a greater need for that affirmation of their own beauty and greatness, whether it be from teasing when they were younger, getting beat up, neglect, sexual molestation, or anything else. They have a greater need to feel accepted for the beautiful person they are and need to be reminded of it.

These are just a few random thoughts before I managed to fall asleep. Don't yell at me if you disagree.
