Me and my friends used to spend HOURS playing this game. It kept all your stats in the machine, like win percentage and money earned, and you could unlock tons of characters, including a few Mortal Kombat characters since the game was made by Midway.
On an interesting side note, we used to go down there, and there was this older gentleman named Ron who was always there. Apparently, he lost about 30 or 40 pounds playing Pump It Up (it's kinda like DDR), which was right next to the Grid. Eventually, he started playing with us, and he was HORRIBLE. He used to call us Franz, Red, and KILLER (I was Red).
Any who, no one would play the Grid with me last night, cos none of the people I used to play with were there. 
Does anyone else even know of this crazy game?
