in the am as you all know i came back from sid, gasmaskboy and quiescence's housewarming party. later on in the am i flew to cincinnati. upon arrival to the hotel in covington kentucky. there was an oktoberfest going on. i attended and began drinking again. the people were very welcoming to out of towners like myself. beer and ribs was on the menu for that night.
monday 9/13/04
training from 8 - 5.
my co-workers and i headed off into cincinnati and found ourselves at the haufbrauhaus. we drank till we puked or at least i did. the others had 4 beers and i had 5. the beers were 1.5 liter mugs and the beer went down so smooth. the waitress liked my accent and had asked me to say a million words. go me. then at the end of the night i said one more line to her. "can i have your numbah??" i got it.
tuesday 9/14/04
training 8 - 5
i puked my guts out all morning and afternoon until my stomach was empty. i even saw the bile escape from me or at least it looked like it. i would drink water to try to rehydrate myself during class. my buddy had a huge styrofoam cup and a newspaper. i looked over at him and asked are you done with that, he handed me his newspaper and i pointed towards the cup. i proceeded to quietly ralph a pinkish clear liquid with small red peices that look like pulp. the company nurse at the training center said it looked like i was bringing up my stomach lining. and told me not to drink any coffee or beer for awhile.
prior to going to cincinnati, a co-worker "dan" who lives in kentucky has a daughter who is about to marry this complete idiot who has occasionaly laid his hands on her, but she thinks that they should marry, cause she loves him or something. i didn't get all the details of this story. she usually listens to her mom and her mom "ma" said that she should give another guy a chance to prove to her that there are lots of other and better choices than her bf.
so dan says, "who do you have in mind?"
ma replies, "mark is coming into town next week from boston."
dan didn't agree on it and eventually warmed up to the idea. dan thought about it and said i'm a decent guy and has a good head on my shoulders. so dan and ma asked me to take their daughter out on a date.
i took her out to a cincinnati reds game and to a cafe in the city. then proceded to drive her back home and we sat in their barn with our feet hanging out the barn talking and looking at the night sky. she asked me if i kissed on the first date and i replied no. it's just a thing with me i never kiss on the first date. so she leaned on over and kissed me. and the night went on with us kissing and cuddling in the hay.
ma saw her lean over and kiss me.
dan said that he can never try to bust on me at work or with the guys cause of this date.

training 8 - 5
i met up with her again and spent the day walking around town with her and soaking up the sites. it was really nice. we headed back to the house. and walked the dogs on her parents land. 62 acres to be exact. we stopped at a bench and let the dogs run wild for a moment. i leaned over and kissed her, she looked happy.
after the night was over i had a talk with the rents and caught up with them on current events. then she walked in and hugged her parents and said "you guys are right, there are other and better people out there. thank you. then hugged and kissed me" and headed off to bed. after she left dan says mission accomplished.
i said, "dan your daughter is one of a kind, can i take her back to boston with me?"
dan said "no"
ma said "shut up dan, i want what's best for our daughter, yes you can"
me "sweet"
but she'll be attending the university of kentucky in the upcoming spring. she wasn't able to get into boston college. i don't see anything really special coming of this, but it was nice nonetheless..

we got a "YANKEES SUCK" chant going at the game. we came to heckle nomah, but he wasn't playing.
