Yo ho ho Pirate Z!

I got a few Severed Heads albums and CDs... I first heard their stuff in 1986 when they did a late night live special on ROCK ARENA (still in my mind the best ever music prog on Australian TV ever) Oh man it did my brain in, all these colors and crazy video with this insane electronic music. My pal at High School got the "Come visit the big bigot" double album and the rest is history. If you haven't heard it, it's mad!
I taped it off him and did my homework to it. Later in 1990 I saw them live at the Sarah Sands in Sydney road - it's now a Irish Bar but back then it was dark, dingy and full of gothic trippers. Severed Heads were the loudest band I ever heard! It ripped my head off. I bought a few of their LPs like Bad Mood Guy, Rotund for Success (which has aged well) and Bulkhead, the compilation. It's all good, as they say. I still love the original version of "Dead Eyes Open".. a classic.

The Education system in Australia is shit. It's becoming more and more like the States every day. The Nelson package is a fucking joke! Education should be FREE.. accessable and available to all who have the intention or potential. We can kiss goodbye to the "clever country" ... it's only a clever country for those with the $$$. I am at Uni at the moment, good way to stay poor, really.

Hey, glad yr back! We've got a daquiri machine in our pub, it's been doing a roaring trade in this hot weather. Everyone here has finished exams too so we're slowing down at work. I've got an interveiw for the course I wanna do next year coming up, it's a sound production one and they rang me up when I was up in brisbane on tour. It was pretty cool to say 'No, sorry. Can't come in this week, I'm on tour.

We had an awesome storm the other night, you probably saw it on the news. We didn't have to switch lights on at home, the lightning through the skylights was enough. It was rad.

Need help? I'm pretty handy with computing stuff. I'm useless at chemistry, though.

The only thing I remember about high school chemistry is the desire to insert long needles into the chem teacher.

I thought I'd learn about how to blow stuff up, instead we got to do lame titration lab sessions and study the periodical table. And all the chicks in the class turned out to be nerdy prudes.

The class I should have taken is Climatic Advances in Applied Human Biology, but that is wasn't in the mainstream curriculum and they didn't offer it at the time.

I'll be at the rally tomorrow... I mean later on today.

I was in the city at 1pm, but no rally. Did the police already arrest everyone? Is the Curtin Student Guild VP and her girlfriend now in jail on trumped up conspiracy charges? Or was I just too late and missed the show. Aarrgghh!!
Nobody knew anything. Everyone claimed ignorance. Talk about government conspiracy. I found no traces of tear gas, blood, torched cars or anything!!! Spotless. These guys are pros.

Just hacked into the place where they store the security videos. No rally. Nothing. Business as usual. Hang on! The shadows are kinda wrong for this time of day and year. Ah, they must have replaced the security video from some other time and fudged the datestamps. Ah, clever.

I guess I'll just have to interrogate some drunken bums until I get some answers. I'll beat the truth out of them if I have to...

There's some one at the door, so just... oh, shoot. It's couple of suits in dark glasses! I'll grab the notebook and make a run for it. If you don't hear from me within the week, they must have gotten to me... I won't talk.

Yeah we'll have to catch up whenever. I'll be at the rally for a little while until I get bored and start torching cars, etc. Otherwise we'll meet after your exams. There will be some cool movies on soon.
