black is often associated with death in the west
white is often assoiciated with death in the east
this is not all they have symbolised
this is not all they will symbolise
a symbols meaning is unique to the individual viewer
no symbol is universal
certain symbols are universally recognizable
this is not contradictory
paradox, i.e. contradiction, is the nature of the universe
of all universes
there is no universe
space is not vast, it is a single point
place, distance, size: these things do not change, just those who percieve it do
perception is power
perception is all
you can never perceive all, you are part of it
your own perception will forever affect that which you are perceiving
the watcher affects the pattern by watching
there is no pattern, only chaos
chaos is a pattern unto itself
this is not contradictory
all beliefs; religious, scientific, and other, have their basis in an inherent imposibility
paradox
it is the tension of paradox that drives the universe
this is tao
you are a pattern
you generate a pattern
you affect the patterns all around you
you are affected by the surrounding patterns
all these conflicting patterns form a pattern
this is tao
patterns are neither good or bad - they are chaos
there is only pattern and chaos
pattern: the chaos you recognize
chaos: the pattern you are caught in
pattern is chaos just as chaos is pattern
this is not a paradox
this is tao
this too has its basis in an inherent imposibility
