I'm geeking out on Tolkein again!!! yay!
I'm reading the Lays of Beleriand for the first time. Super cool, it has several versions of the story of the children of Hurin- (that's right! Hurin from the end of the fifth battle who says "the day will come again! [aura enteluva]" and kills 70 orcs with his axe before being carted of to Morgoth's stronghold where he is made to sit in a high seat in a tower and see all that morgoth sees as Morgoth destroys his family. ) [sarcasm]Very uplifting. [/sarcasm] but cool. and versions of the lay of Luthien and beren, who stole a silmaril back from morgoth. and some other poems, and commentary by c.s. lewis.
If you're not into beowulf style poetry and strange old epics, this might not be to your taste. However, I love it. ambrosia.
Now I have to go to capoeira class where they're going to beat on me for missing class for two weeks due to my hacking bronchitis that has finallt passed. I was sick for +10 days and he was sick for like 3. monkey fucker.

You may be the only person i know who is a bigger Tolkein geek than i am. I am currently re-reading the book of lost tales.
It's good to hear your over the hacking, hope the beating wasn't to intense. Capoeira is some intense shit.
