Yesterday I figured out how to type accents.[I need them for Portugus e Espaol.] THis is a major acheivement!! because I am too lazy to paste in from the character map, but I'm willing to use the shift and alt[option] key.
Of course, this is my EASY computer we're talking about. (os x, ibook) I'm still pasting away with the gnome character map in linux--
Of course, I still love my pc with linux on it- how could I not? I put it together. How can you not love a computer that has a gig more ram than I paid for from when my mom switched to an imac after viruses ate her windows box?
but it's a lot of fun to use os x in Portugus-I suppose I could load the spell checker dictionary for portuguese for kword. but that would take work! textedit is all set to go

what else today? well-- they always threaten to keep us at work if the weather blows and not enough night people come in. thank god I got to go home, keeping in mind my work schedule for the next few days
-but then maybe I should have just freaken have slept there-- I mean I brought a book.
But there's nothing like LEAVING work.

wow.... I Had a system that ran mandrake 8.1 *where i first cut my teeth. Thou that system has long since ate it. Im currently duel booting Winxp pro and Knoppix (cd bootable)

Hey... I just read your post on the 1st about Ikea furniture. My house burned up in June, its rebuilt now and almost ready to move in, I ordered everything from Ikea, furnished the whole house for 3 grand and shipping was only 400 bucks. I heard that Ikea was gonna open in New Haven soon. That would really be cool.
