i have been disinterested in fireworks since i was a small child. it's wierd, i know, but i hate being startled, especially by loud noises. so i am just chilling out enjoying my day off of work. had a little family shindig with apple pie & BBQ. can't get more american than that.
i am very much dreading going back to school. i have very many things to look forward to, such as moving into a new apt. with two of my closest friends, starting my advanced graphic design classes, and seeing the look on my exes face when i say, "fuck no, i am not sleeping with you, "one last time". but, my campus is rough. there are so many people who endlessly look down on others...these groups of people include, enginerds, richy rich chicago brats, or stupid ugly frat boys, that just becuase they are in a certain frat, they think they are better than everyone else, and who i would not even give a second glance if i were walking down the street. don't even get me started about the bar scene, etc...tucson is way cooler in that dept. (as recently toured with super-fun suicidesic). I didn't even know that all of those places existed on 4th. where the fuck have i been all summer? oh well...

i will be trying to find a second job next year, in addition to the design work that i already do for the college, hopefully at a sweet design firm in town. i once heard a fellow designer say that there are just a couple things that you need to do design. one of them being a client...well, i haven't had anyone who needs a website or anything done lately, so...needless to say, i haven't been doing any design. so school is exciting, because i will super busy with kick ass projects & critiques with all of my design pals.

i'm not too interested in fireworks myself. it gets boring after like the first minute or so. what really sucks is when you have the morons that think it's cool to shoot their guns into the sky in lieu of the fireworks. also, the pets! they get freaked the fuck out and run away from their homes! i'm ranting...i apologize. i hope you have a great week
