anyway...i heard something today and i seriously needed to share this with someone...this is a true story and thats what scares me.
my friend Adam and I have a friend. She works for citygroup and roughly makes $50,000 a year. now, this is where it gets confusing and where i get perplxed by the information i have just given you. now dont' get me wrong, she is a sweetheart and we adore her, however here is the thing...somehow today durring a phone conversation, the topic of welding came up. So where is the problem? Adam actually had to explain to the girl why someone would need the services of a person who could weld 2 pieces of metal together and where the knowledge of this trade is actually put into use.
she then proceeded to question where people would actually weld, as if someone actually created a workspace for these types of people.
please, i beg you to comment.
