ah yes, living in los angeles. they're shooting something on my street in front of the coffee shop. maybe that's why the name of the coffee shop says "jack's latte mat" instead of "angeles bohemios" and has washing machines inside. there's no parking lot for my building, and for now street is a temporary towing zone on monday. parking really bites right now. everyone is parked all along sunset. getting to my apartment was also a bitch. big ass trucks and "star waggons" parked everywhere, the la movie stud guys chatting on their cell phones making sure i don't disrupt filming. good thing i remembered that grocery shopping was a bad idea today. and no, there's no movie stars. i don't think so anyway, and i don't really care. unless it's drew barrymore of course. it just sucks cuz it's such an inconvenience. whatever. they'll be gone some time tonight... so i'm feeling much better now. no more sickness. i went to an art opening on saturday night and hung out. had the old british grandpa guy trying to hit on me a little bit, followed by a really creepy late 30's massuse (how the hell do you spell that?) dude. must've been the cleavage. i went to this party in highland park afterwards. didn't know the guy whose house it was, and neither did anybody i went with. but it was fun....

The Hollywood version was surprisingly good.
Just watched it recently and I LOVE Daniel Craig, but I had such low expectations because the originals were just SO good. Wow though, just wow, everyone was fantastic and some parts of it were actually more tense and disturbing. Didn't hurt that Reznor and Ross put the music together either.
