i finally decided that it was time to update. i'm sure a lot has happened since march or whenever it was that i last updated. but i don't really want to write about all that. all you need to know is that i graduated with my masters in film from artfag school in may. i don't have a print of my thesis film yet and i don't know how far off that is. let's just say there's a handful of reasons why, which no one is really to blame for. but i assure you that my thesis film is a pretty bizarre and awesome little 6 minute stop motion/experimental 16mm bundle of goodness.

and now it's time to amuse yourselves with some of the raddest early '90's music videos that i'm sure you wish you could just forget!

the first concert i ever went to was to see these guys. i was in third grade. i made my own super cool puffy paint tee to wear just for the occasion. i don't remember the show being as awesome as their video though.



i was totally obsessed with this song when i was like 11, but i have absolutely no idea just what in the hell is going on in this video.












okay, so when i was in 4th or 5th grade i went to a slumberparty and someone brought over a vhs tape of a bunch of music videos. a few of my friends kept replaying this particular video and they'd lick the tv screen whenever his crotch thrusted at the camera... i don't think this video would have quite the same effect on them today. at least i hope not.
