i was only in munich for a week. i've been back for awhile, but i've been busy with school. at last the fall semester is over! and i plan on busting my ass off doing tests for my thesis and chilling. i just bought a cable release for my bolex for the stop motion part of my thesis. woohoo!
so about munich...
it was a free trip and it was awesome! german beer is the shit. it is amazingly good, and you can drink an assload of it and not feel sick. i stayed up until 5am every night drinking.
i was the ONLY experimental filmmaker in the whole festival. i was also the only one there that had a room all to myself. i felt a little isolated sometimes. i was so busy with screenings all day and drinking all night that i hardly saw that much of munich.
it would be much too long to write about the full munich story. but rest assured that i had an amazing time. sadly, i did not take that many pictures, but here's a few.
