when i'm really busy, i long for days and days of doing absolutely nothing. contrarily, when i have absolutely nothing to do, i long for days and days of being insanely busy.
always wanting what i don't have. but overall, it's so nice to be back in school, that a part of me never wants it to end.
but i do finally have a sexy 15" powerbook with a superdrive. and it's all mine mine mine! it's so pretty. how did i function without it before?
i'm finally starting a new project (even though a print of my last film still does not exist. i'm my own worst cirtic and that is the only reason a print does not exist). between writing papers, working on a friend's shoot, and doing projects for classes, i am thrilled to be out of my creative funk and throwing myself into newness.
and i just decided a few days ago that this new project is going to be my thesis. i am relieved to have figured out what my thesis is. ii knew it would happen this way. i scheduled my prelim thesis meeting for january next year. plenty of time to run tests and all the etc. iit's going to be beautiful and i'm excited about it!
i'm going to munich next month for a week during thanksgiving. i have a short experimental film showing in a festival and the festival is paying for my travel and hotel. this will be my first flight over seas and i'm travelling all by myself. i'm both excited and nervous about it. it's going to be amazing once i get there, but i'm so terrified of just making sure that i get where i need to be. and yes, i will be bringing plenty of cameras with me while i'm there.
i'm rambling. i don't expect anyone to really care enough to actually read this whole journal entry. sometimes it's just nice to have a place to blog.

and this is my new friend. his name is sprocket, and he's the shit.
p.s. you may think i'm just blatantly rude, but honestly, i just don't always have time to respond to people. and like usual, i really don't care if you "hate" me for it. beyond my control. friend request is still on auto decline.
