Not to much going on. Well thats not really true I've got tons going on just nothing that interesting. OOOooo I know what I can tell you about.
I went into work the other day and my district manager asked if I wanted to do a few interviews cuz they were for my store anyways. So I was like sure I've never done one before might as well get some in since I'll be doing them from now on. The first girl was cute. But I really need someone whos older with some retail experience. I need someone who can open and close. But shes still in high school. So it doesn't really work. Then I have the second interview. Now this girl is exactly what I need... on paper. Heres what happened. We walked out of the store cuz there's no where to do interviews in the backroom. We sit down and I start asking her questions. "What do you think your friends would say if asked to describe you?" her answer "Umm Funny and fun to be around." OK well that was a little weird but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt..." Can you tell me about a situation at any of your jobs that you dealt with a customers problem well?" Here we go... "Umm umm ummm I don't know" "Ok well you worked at dunkin donuts so anyone ever complain about there coffee or anthing?".. "Yea I umm just got them a new one" So now that shes said umm 800 times and half the time not given me an answer I was like ok I'll give her one last chance. " Give me 3 words that descibe you in a positive way" Within 2 seconds she said " Polite, hardworking, and positive" Ok great "Now give me three words that describe you in a negative way." She pauses says umm like 3 or 4 times. Then she sais "Sometimes if people are rude to me I can be rude back" SOOO wait you think one of your strong points is that your polite but at the same time if someone is rude you'll be rude. Being rude doesn't work in retail esp. if you work in an area that a lot of tourists go to in the summer. Lots of them are rude and you can't be rude back. So anyways I told her I'd finish my other interviews (Lie I had no more interviews) and give her a call (Lie not going to call) and maybe set up the read test for her when I call. (Lie we do that right after the interview if we like someone) I also threw her application and interview form away when I walked back into the store.
Going to Providence tomorrow for manager training. yay!

I hated doing my manager training for my job. But i did get a free all expence paid trip for going!
