Very tired. Talked to Sam a lot on the phone today. It was nice. We got a Crock Pot that I don't know how to use for Christmas. Sam doesn't know what to do with it either. Perhaps we'll put our heads together and come up with something.

I'm about ready to go home to be with Sam and sleep in my own bed again--not to mention smoke without harassment. But I'm not too sure how I feel about returning to work and the stress of trying to figure out how on earth I'm going to be able to pay some bills. It's been nice visiting with my family, and I've enjoyed seeing them, I really have. But I've been getting the kind of tired where I want to hide away and Sam's the only person I let see me. He understands because I think he can get that way too. We kind of protect each other, napping in each other's arms and screening the other person's calls or making up excuses when they don't want to come to the phone. We're not complete homebodies--we've thrown some pretty awesome parties since moving in together, and attended more than a few--but sometimes, you just have one of those days.
