Nubbs is bringing his DVD of "Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter" with him. THE campy, bad movie of campy, bad movies. Tons of drunken fun!!
I'm a lazy ass. I need to go put my makeup on, smoke, and get going on cleaning this house before people show up tonight.

i have a tremor in my eye... oh i guess that is an eye twitch
1. don't skimp on the lighting. don't use low watt bulbs that you find around the house, get a couple shop lamps and don't mix the color temp.- like flash lighting plus incandescent is bad, it does strange things to the colors in the pics where the lights overlap.
2. be careful of your background. things like the brown carpets that are in every fucking apartment bulding in america, piles of dirty clothes, cords climbing all over the walls- it doesn't usually look so great. look for someplace with color and depth.
3. don't alter your images - or i will go crazy. and if you do alter them before you send them save the originals in case we need them. but please just send the originals.
4. find a photographer, or at least someone with an appreciation for photography. or an artist. not a creepy one though!
5. (yep, still going) feel sexy when you take the pics. take your time and let the photographer get the good angles and cute faces. listen to marvin gaye, check yourself out in the mirror and practice your sexy looks. ha ha. but really it works i think.
6. test your color settings on the camera. learn how to whitebalance if you don't know already, take sample photos in your location and check them out before you start shooting.
7. take hundreds of pics. be prepared to unload the camera many times before you finish if it doesn't hold much. that is why digital cams are so great. (so much nicer than scans for the web anyway.) then weed out the best 50-60 and send them in!
i hope you have a great time shooting your set. it should be fun and something you are proud of. if you aren't 100% happy with it, consider retaking it because it's going to be around for a while. (hopefully!) good luck making it past missy!
