Look it's me in job hunting attire

Apparently I can look presentable.

So yesterday I head down to the job fair at HRDC. It was dissapointing. It was also a little silly since the HRDC workers were dressed like Pirates and had parrot name tags. I waited in line for almost two hours to find out that I was only eligible to apply to a few jobs since I'm a white angle saxon male. The jobs I applied to were Opinion Search, Cyberdome, and an office furniture instillation company. From there I went into a place where they have all these computers lined up that can only be used for the job bank system. So I sat down and did some hunting. Then someone poked me and said they thought they recognized me. It took a little while but then we realized who each other was. Turned out it was Michelle who I met at the Metric show a while back. She is in the same boat as me pretty much, gone for part of the summer so she is trying to find a job that she won't mind quitting.

I left HRDC around three. I took a few neat photos of the construction site by the 95 stop off of bank st.



I got home, changed and headed out again to meet up with the boys from Brooklyn for their first appearance at the board wide band night at Pius X. They put on a good set minus the fact that the tech people sucked and they lost their lead guitar, and their drummer broke a pedal. The photos I took did not turn out nicely at all since the tech people were nice enough to turn down the lighting. Well I hope these guys can get a monday night new music gig at Zaphod's sometime soon.

I got on my computer this morning to discover that I lost EVERYONE on my soulseek user list. If you have me on there please message me so I can add you back, if you don't have me and want to add me i'm AlHooter on there

EDIT: i just wanted to add that I have regained my love for Daft Punk. They keep popping up in my playlist and I do a little dance in my seat just like I used to do while cruising around with the high school kids. Good times.
