sounds like fun.
watching movies for school doesn't sound all bad to me. but i'm in English and reading books for school didn't sound bad to me either but it is. so i can understand how it gets boring. especially if it's not what you really want to be doing.

hands on sounds like you would probably learn more of what you need to learn to acutally make movies.

did you make a lot of movies for school projects in high school? i always thought that was fun. but ours were always crap.

actually i never made to many movies in high school. i did a lot of writing and directing in drama, but never filmed much since we did not have the resources.
